Messages from Connor *this film is currently in post-production*
Returning to the foreclosed home of my late partner, I weave together public data from Google Street View and Zillow 3D tours with my own private archive. A collection of Connor’s voicemails, saved across our five-year relationship up until his death in 2018, trace the arc of our partnership, his sudden absence, and my subsequent mourning. A nod to Chantal Akerman’s News from Home, this work explores the tension between the physical absence of a person and the agonizingly persistent nature of their digital footprint.
